Deserves book of the year award! The most enjoyable story I’ve read about an abusive relationship without being tainted by statistics, so-called professional guidance, or advice from friends or family. A genuine story with heartfelt emotions, dealing with extreme challenges and adversity of starting a new life from the beginning. Definitely the best book I’ve read all year, Crusty, if I may call you by your first name, as I felt a personal connection with you and Claire Ghost after reading your incredible book.
I read your book and found it enjoyable and also overwhelming to read. I heard you saying that young men also suffer the same fate as the young woman in your story and you outlined that the abuser in most cases becomes a predator not wanting to lose control of the relationship. A powerful concept. I hope you write a second book describing the situation as you noted that men tend to feel they should remain silent, and the issue goes unnoticed. Looking forward to reading your next book!
A different kind of read from your average book for sure. A Story with some real twists that you don’t see coming, and a ton of insight from an author who speaks from actual real world experience. This book covers a sensitive topic of abuse, but inspires us to move on and take control of our own destiny. The concept of off grid living is very intriguing and the detail is quite informative. A book that has adventure, and is educational!
